Yeah, we have our stuff!

Great celebrations were had yesterday evening opening our boxes and seeing all of our things again.  I never thought that I would be so pleased to see saucepans, but there you go - life has a habit of taking you by surprise.  A good night's sleep was definitely aided by the arrival of our pillows.  Lots of washing followed the unpacking (joseph found this most amusing!) and now we have all of our clothes put away just like at home.

We ventured out and about to investigate some more of the local area last night and were surprised to see the number of cars on the road at 9:30pm. Rush hour is a little later than expected.  Sadly, I had neither phone nor camera to take a photo to share with our bloggers.  Sorry.

The plan for today is to try to socialise a little more with the other new arrivals (we are feeling old hands already now that we have had our medicals, got a car, found our way around the school and explored quite a lot of the area).  Failing that, we are off to find the golf club, quad biking and kite surfing.  What an alternative.

Weekend day 1 today. Still feels strange, but I am sure that we'll get used to the idea of starting the week on Saturday fairly soon.  Probably when we start work on Saturday!
