Term has now started!!! I was lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you view it) to have 16 of my 18 grade 6 class for the first day. Almost all of them are fasting, so I think they are a little quieter than usual so I shall look forward to them on top form!
Our one weekend day yesterday saw us snorkelling at the Oman dive centre. I still can't quite get used to the idea that we live so close to so many exciting places, the views were incredible! Impressively, I managed not to pack our own snorkels along with my fins so I think a trip to the shops may be in order if we wish to have more of an explore. Unfortunately, the water was rather sandy so there were only a few fish to be seen (and only by me - I'm sure Joe thinks I was making it up).
Yesterday evening saw more car shopping and a late night visit to our 'regular' juice bar for an 'Indian' and kiwi juice to accompany our veggie burger and spring roll roll. You don't get that at mcdonald's.
Yet more car shopping this evening followed this time by even more exciting food. An impromptu visit to the 'Muscat bakery markets' meant that we were, once more, eating a fantastic dinner. We were a little apprehensive given that they did not have any menus and the waiter didn't speak much English, but felt safe with the korma and wrap. A real added bonus was the dosa recommended by the very friendly Indian family sitting at the next table.
Time for bed, work tomorrow however odd that seems!
We have only had one response regarding the new design - thanks, sis! Any more opinions?
